Many T-Mobile customers report they can’t call Verizon, AT&T, or other T-Mobile numbers

T-Mobile customers have been reporting issues making and receiving calls all afternoon, with problems frequently linked to Verizon numbers. This all started around 2PM ET this afternoon, with hotspots showing in most major metro areas on Downdectector. Initial reports suggested Verizon might be having issues, but Verizon spokesperson Kevin King tells The Verge that its network is operating “business as usual.”

A number of users on Twitter have been complaining about the outage, with T-Mobile customers frequently raising concerns about calling other networks and, in some cases, even other T-Mobile customers. The reported problems range from instantly dropped calls, to “all circuits are busy” messages, to lag even when people are able to get a connection.

A test call between one T-Mobile prepaid number and a Verizon number worked for us, but posts across social media continue to note issues.

We haven’t seen widespread reports of AT&T issues, other than from T-Mobile customers who are having problems calling out. T-Mobile has not responded to requests for comment from The Verge.

Rihanna fans are sharing their confusion over the latest Savage X Fenty pyjama set after the singer debuted the pants, which feature a rear cut-out, on Instagram.

On Sunday, the fashion designer uploaded a video of herself modelling the pyjama pants on her Instagram Stories, with the clip showing Rihanna turning to give viewers a glimpse of her uncovered backside in the new Tied Up Tartan Open-Back PJ Pants.

According to the Savage X Fenty website, the pants, which retail for $49.95 but are on sale for $13.98, are a “spin on classic holiday pyjamas” and feature “an open bum to show off what you want, Savage style”.

However, on social media, Rihanna’s fans were left bewildered by the design, with many sharing their less-than-favourable opinions about the pyjama pants.

“I don’t get what Rihanna was trying to do with the pyjama bottoms…” one person tweeted.

Another said: “Rihanna really out here making a** out pyjama chaps???”

“​​Rhi I adore you but wtf,” someone else wrote alongside a screenshot of the pyjama pant listing on the Savage X Fenty website.

While the singer’s latest fashion design wasn’t a hit with everyone, the pyjamas weren’t entirely dismissed, as some people revealed themselves to be supportive of any trend that Rihanna unveils.

“Only Rihanna can make some booty out pyjama pants look sweet,” one fan wrote on Twitter, while another person acknowledged the business mogul’s success in the fashion industry, writing: “Rihanna made a billion-dollar commercial empire turning out stuff like a**less flannel pyjama sets and I gotta say I respect the hell out of it.”

In February, it was reported that the Fenty Beauty founder’s pyjama and lingerie line had reached a $1bn valuation, with CultureBanx reporting that the brand was in a position to be the global lingerie market leader by 2025.

Although the latest pyjama range has been met with mixed reviews, the singer is often praised for the inclusivity of her brand, which uses diverse models and which has previously released a campaign featuring Black breast cancer survivors.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has won the Yashin Trophy, awarded to the world’s best goalkeeper this year at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris.

Italy’s No1 played a starring role in their Euro 2020 triumph with crucial penalty shootout saves and kept a miserly defensive record throughout the competition, and he was named the Player of the Tournament. His club form has been less impressive, however, making only made a handful of appearances so far since swapping AC Milan for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer due to injury and the form of Keylor Navas.

Donnarumma, 22, fought off competition from Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy, who has been outstanding under Thomas Tuchel and kept goal as the Blues won last season’s Champions League, as well as helping them to the top of the Premier League this season with only five goals conceded.

Donnarumma becomes only the second goalkeeper to win the trophy, following in the footsteps of Liverpool’s Alisson Becker who won the inaugural Yashin Trophy in 2019. There was no winner in 2020, when the Ballon d’Or awards were cancelled due to the pandemic.

The Yashin Trophy was established to show specific appreciation to goalkeepers, after only one – the Russian great Lev Yashin – had ever won the Ballon d’Or itself since its inception in 1956.

เรื่องนี้ “พระมหาสมปอง ตาลปุตฺโต” พระนักเทศน์ชื่อดัง พส. ที่สนิทสนิมกับพระมหาไพรวัลย์ ที่ช่วงหลังไลฟ์สดคู่กันจนสร้างปรากฏการณ์ให้โลกโซเชียลฯ ฮือฮาออกมายืนยันหลัง วิดีโอคอล พูดคุยกับพระมหาไพรวัลย์ โดยพระมหาไพรวัลย์บอกกับพระมหาสมปอง ให้บอกนักข่าวว่าไม่ต้องรอ เพราะไม่ได้อยู่วัด และให้พระมหาสมปอง บอกได้ทุกเรื่อง

แน่นอนว่า ปมเหตุการสึก “พระมหาสมปอง” คอนเฟิร์มว่าเหตุผลหลักๆ มาจากเรื่องแต่งตั้งเจ้าอาวาส เพราะพระมหาไพรวัลย์ เคยพูดถึงเรื่องความยุติธรรม และทราบว่า เจ้าตัวคุยกับ “เจ้าคุณอุทัย” บ่อย ที่ลาสิกขาก็เพื่อเจ้าคุณอุทัย เป็นการตัดสินใจเองล้วนๆ ของ “พระมหาไพรวัลย์” ไม่ใช่เรื่องแรงกดดัน ไม่ได้เครียดอะไร แต่ก็เป็นที่น่าสังเกตว่า ที่ว่าไม่มีแรงกดดัน พระมหาสมปอง กลับเปิดเผยว่า ตัวเองและพระมหาไพรวัลย์นั้น ถูกสั่งห้ามให้งดไลฟ์สด โดยเฉพาะไลฟ์สดคู่กัน

พระมหาสมปอง บอกว่าตัวเองไม่ดื้อ แต่เหมือนโดนหลอกให้นิ่ง ไม่ให้พูด สั่งให้งดไลฟ์คู่กันทุกวันศุกร์ ทำได้ 2 สัปดาห์ ก็ไม่ไหว

สำหรับกับพระมหาไพรวัลย์ บอกห้ามอะไรก็ห้ามได้ แต่ขออย่าห้ามไลฟ์

คำถามว่า พระมหาไพรวัลย์จะสึกเมื่อไหร่ พระมหาสมปอง บอกว่าจากนี้เราจะออกงานคู่กันครั้งสุดท้ายที่ จ.เชียงใหม่ แล้วคาดว่าวันที่ 4-5 ธันวาคมนี้ พระมหาไพรวัลย์ ก็จะสึก!!

งานนี้ พส.ชื่อดังก็ยอมรับ ปฏิกิริยาของสังคม ก็มีทั้งพระที่เสียดาย และที่บอกว่าออกไปได้ก็ดี ก็มองว่าหากพระมหาไพรวัลย์ออกไป ก็พูดได้แรงกว่าเดิม ตรงกว่าเดิม เชื่อว่าน่าจะ “ต๊าซ” โดนใจ แต่ยืนยันว่าจะไม่ไปยุ่งเกี่ยวกับเรื่องการเมือง

เรื่องนี้ “เหล่าม็อบ 3 นิ้ว” ที่เชียร์ให้ “พระมหาไพรวัลย์” สึกไปร่วมม็อบก็น่าจะต้องผิดหวัง แต่สำหรับ “ณวัฒน์ อิสรไกรศีล” เจ้าของมิสแกรนด์ไทยแลนด์ นักจัดรายการโทรทัศน์ อาจจะยิ้มกริ่ม เพราะเคยทาบทาม “พระมหาไพรวัลย์”ไปเป็นพิธีกรด้วยนั้น พระมหาสมปอง เล่าว่าก่อนหน้านี้ ณวัฒน์ มาหาที่วัด แต่ไม่ได้เจอกัน ส่วนเรื่องมาชวนไปเป็นพิธีกรคู่กัน คาดว่าณวัฒน์ น่าจะพูดอยู่ฝ่ายเดียว

ในขณะที เพจพระมหาไพรวัลย์ ซึ่งเปลี่ยนเป็น “ไพรวัลย์ วรวัณโณ” ได้ออกมาโพสต์ ภาพ 2 พส.ชื่อดัง พระมหาสมปอง ตาลปุตฺโต และพระมหาไพรวัลย์ วรวัณโณ นั่งคู่กันบนเครื่องบิน และได้ระบุโพสต์ว่า “ให้มันภำที่กลางท้องฟ้า #งานสุดท้ายในผ้าเหลือง”

งานนี้บทบาทใหม่ของพระมหาไพรวัลย์จะเป็นอย่างไร จะต๊าซกว่าเป็นพส.มั้ย ปูเสื่อรอดูกันต่อไป

ที่ถูกเอ่ยชื่อมานี้ เป็นที่รู้กันว่าล้วนใกล้ชิด ยืนข้าง“ลุงตู่”ทั้งนั้น ไม่ได้อยู่ข้าง “ผู้กองธรรมนัส” โดยเฉพาะ“สุชาติ ชมกลิ่น” จะเป็นวอลเปเปอร์ทุกครั้งเวลา “ลุงตู่” ลงพื้นที่

เช่นเกียวกับ “เสี่ยแฮงค์” อนุชา นาคาศัย ที่บอกว่าตอนนี้ “กลุ่มสามมิตร” ไม่มีแล้ว มีแต่คนที่ทำงานการเมืองอยู่พรรคพลังประชารัฐ และยังยืนยันว่า ไม่ได้มีความคิดที่จะย้ายไปพรรคไหน เหมือนข่าวที่ปล่อยออกมา…

ขณะที่ “ธนกร วังบุญคงชนะ” โฆษกรัฐบาลที่เคยเป็นโฆษกกลุ่มสามมิตร ก็ออกมาพูดแทน “สมศักดิ์ เทพสุทิน” ว่า เรื่องไม่เป็นความจริง น่าจะเป็นการปล่อยข่าวจากผู้ที่หวังดี ประสงค์ร้ายมากกว่า … ส่วน “สุริยะ จึงรุ่งเรืองกิจ” เมื่อถูกนักข่าวถามถึงเรื่องนี้ได้แต่อมยิ้ม และหัวเราะหึ หึ ในลำคอ แทนคำตอบ

เรื่องนี้ “ลุงป้อม” รู้สึกว่าจะไม่เดือดเนื้อร้อนใจ ไม่ให้ราคา เหมือนกับรู้เกมฝ่ายตรงข้าม จึงหอบหิ้ว “อ.แหม่ม” นฤมล ภิญโญสินวัฒน์ ผู้กองธรรมนัส และ วิรัช รัตนเศรษฐ ขึ้นเหนือ บุกถิ่นหัวหน้าพรรคเพื่อไทย“ชลน่าน ศรีแก้ว” ที่ จ.น่าน ซะเลย

“ลุงป้อม”บอกว่า ไปติดตามดูแลการบริหารจัดการน้ำเพื่อช่วยเหลือชาวบ้าน แถมเปิดตัวผู้สมัครส.ส.เขต ทั้ง 3 เขตของ จ.น่าน โดยจัดให้ “พิชิต โมกศรี” อดีตปลัดเทศบาล และอดีตผู้สมัครนายกอบจ.น่าน ลงชนกับ “ชลน่าน ศรีแก้ว” เจ้าของพื้นที่ ที่เขต 2 ทำเอาส.ส.หลายสมัยอย่าง “หมอชลน่าน” ถึงกับออกมาโวยว่า “ลุงป้อม” ใช้ตำแหน่งรองนายกฯ เอาโครงการสร้างถนน สร้างสะพาน มาซื้อใจคนในพื้นที่ตั้งแต่ไก่โห่

ถึงตรงนี้ ก็อยากจะแนะให้เขียนแปะข้างฝาไว้ดูว่า “สามมิตร” และ “บิ๊กเนม” ที่ถูกกล่าวถึงนั้น จะไม่ไปไหน จะอยู่กับลุงตู่ ลุงป้อม ในศึกเลือกตั้งที่จะถึงนี้ จริงหรือไม่…เวลาจะเป็นเครื่องพิสูจน์ !!

BREAKING: Guinea’s Junta Government Releases Sacked President, Alpha Conde From Prison

The Guinea’s junta government has released former president of the country, Alpha Conde from prison and placed him under house custody.

DW on Monday posted on its Facebook page that their correspondent in Guinea had confirmed that Conde was released on Sunday night. 

“Guinea’s junta government has released former president Alpha Conde from prison and placed him under house custody. DW’s correspondent in Guinea has confirmed that the deposed leader was released last night. Mr. Conde’s release comes three months after the military overthrew him.

“Are there any lessons to be learnt from the rise and fall of Alpha Conde?” the post read. 

On 5 September 2021, Condé was captured by the country’s armed forces in a coup d’état after gunfire in the capital, Conakry.

Special forces commander Mamady Doumbouya released a broadcast on state television announcing the dissolution of the constitution and government.

The junta leader, a 41-year-old colonel and former ally of the deposed Condé, was later sworn in at a ceremony held at the Mohamed V Palace in the capital, Conakry, an event boycotted by most West African heads of state.

The coalition of the regional leaders under the auspices of ECOWAS, imposed sanctions on the junta members and their relatives, froze their assets and imposed travel bans on them.

But this has not deterred the putschists’ resolve to take their pound of flesh by ousting Condé – whom they accused of corruption, disregarding human rights and economic mismanagement – barely a year into his controversial third term reelection.

Regional powers would now hope that the new interim government propped by the country’s military will be for a short while and transition to civilian rule will return quickly.

According to DW, the deposed leader was released last night.

Conde’s release comes three months after the military overthrew him.

The political upheaval in the bauxite-rich West African country has raised concerns over the rising cases of coups in West and Central Africa regions.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward won a first international title with Argentina in the summer with the Copa America and was also La Liga top goalscorer with former club Barcelona.

Robert Lewandowski was widely expected to win last year’s award before it was cancelled due to the pandemic, and the Bayern Munich striker is in the running once again.

Water on Earth might have come from the Sun, according to a new study.

Our planet is covered in water: with more than 70 per cent of its surface made up of oceans, it is far more water-rich than other planets in our solar system. But scientists have long struggled to know where all of that has come from.

Now a new study has suggested that surprising possibility that it came to Earth from the Sun.

“An existing theory is that water was carried to Earth in the final stages of its formation on C-type asteroids, however previous testing of the isotopic ‘fingerprint’ of these asteroids found they, on average, didn’t match with the water found on Earth meaning there was at least one other unaccounted for source,” Phil Bland, a professor at Curtin University and one of the scientists involved in the study, said in a statement.

“Our research suggests the solar wind created water on the surface of tiny dust grains and this isotopically lighter water likely provided the remainder of the Earth’s water.

“This new solar wind theory is based on meticulous atom-by-atom analysis of miniscule fragments of an S-type near-Earth asteroid known as Itokawa, samples of which were collected by the Japanese space probe Hayabusa and returned to Earth in 2010.

“Our world-class atom probe tomography system here at Curtin University allowed us to take an incredibly detailed look inside the first 50 nanometres or so of the surface of Itokawa dust grains, which we found contained enough water that, if scaled up, would amount to about 20 litres for every cubic metre of rock.”

The research could not only prove useful in telling the story of our Earth, but helping us leave it, scientists say. We might be able to use the same technique in future space missions.

“How astronauts would get sufficient water, without carrying supplies, is one of the barriers of future space exploration,” said Luke Daly, another scientist who worked on the paper.

“Our research shows that the same space weathering process which created water on Itokawa likely occurred on other airless planets, meaning astronauts may be able to process fresh supplies of water straight from the dust on a planet’s surface, such as the Moon.”

A paper describing the findings, ‘Solar wind Contributions to the Earth’s Oceans’, is published in Nature Astronomy.

Jussie Smollett arrives at court for trial of alleged fake attack

Jussie Smollett has arrived at court in Chicago to stand trial for allegedly staging a racist and homophobic attack that he later reported to law enforcement.

A large gathering of press and supporters had gathered outside the courtroom for trial as Mr Smollett arrived alongside seven members of his family.

Mr Smollett faces charges of felony disorderly conduct for the supposed fake attack that occurred in January 2019. He was indicted last year on six counts by a grand jury, all of which were connected to alleged lies to law enforcement about the attack.

Mr Smollett has pleaded not guilty to all charges. He was initially charged with 16 counts, but they were all dropped by the prosecutor’s office in March 2019.

Six new charges were announced after a special prosecutor presented the case to a grand jury.

Mr Smollett initially claimed that two white men had attacked him at 2am on a cold night, shouting racist and homophobic slurs at him, and pouring what he thought was bleach over him.

Jack Dorsey releases statement as Twitter names his replacement as CEO

Jack Dorsey is leaving Twitter, the company has officially announced.

Mr Dorsey will be replaced at the head of the company by Parag Agrawal, its current chief technology officer.

The co-founder will continue to serve on the board until 2022, when his term will expire, Twitter announced.

“I’ve decided to leave Twitter because I believe the company is ready to move on from its founders. My trust in Parag as Twitter’s CEO is deep. His work over the past 10 years has been transformational. I’m deeply grateful for his skill, heart, and soul. It’s his time to lead,” said Mr Dorsey in a statement.

The current chairman of Twitter’s board, Patrick Pichette, will also step down. He will be replaced by Bret Taylor, who has been on the board since 2016 and is the president and chief operating officer at Salesforce.

“On behalf of the board, I want to thank Jack for his visionary leadership and unrelenting dedication to Twitter since its founding,” Mr Taylor said in a statement.

“Jack returned to Twitter and turned the company around at the most critical time. The progress since then has been nothing short of incredible. Jack has given the world something invaluable and we will continue to carry it forward.”

Picturesque Phuket and Krabi star in new Czech movie

Bangkok, 29 November, 2021 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) would like to announce that Thailand is once again in the international movie-making spotlight, with a Czech Republic film currently being shot in Phuket and Krabi.

A 22-member film crew including movie stars, director, producers and technicians is in-country during the whole month of November, 2021 to shoot the romantic comedy ‘Ostrov’ (The Island). Scheduled for release in September 2022, it will feature the beautiful scenery of the two popular southern Thailand destinations, including the sea, island and beach settings so loved by travellers the world over.

This marks the first time a Czech film production is concentrating its filming almost entirely in Thailand, with 97% of the movie being shot in Krabi and Phuket.

The lead actor in the movie is Jiri Langmajer and during filming he has posted pictures and videos of his experiences in Thailand to his over 270,000 Instagram followers, amounting to valuable exposure for the destination.

The TAT Prague Office and Czech-based filmmaker Logline Production announced the making of the movie at a press conference on 27 October, 2021. The press conference was attended by over 20 members of the Czech media, and the news was published on various channels including cnn.iprima.cz (TV) and super.cz, idnes.cz and pravy.com (online).

Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor, said, “The international exposure and marketing value for Thailand in the making of foreign movies like Ostrov is invaluable, and it is encouraging to see this film crew making a production here almost immediately as was possible after Thailand’s reopening to tourism.”

The shooting of the film in Thailand is possible thanks to Thailand now welcoming fully vaccinated visitors from 63 countries and territories via the Exemption from Quarantine (TEST & GO) programme. The Czech Republic is among the 63 countries and territories.

Thailand is also welcoming fully vaccinated visitors from every country around the world via the Living in the “Blue Zone” (17 Sandbox destinations) programme. Meanwhile, partially or unvaccinated visitors are also much welcomed via the Happy Quarantine programme.

Ghislaine Maxwell trial: What is she accused of?

Incarcerated British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell is on trial from Monday for sex trafficking charges in cases connected to the disgraced billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew.

She has been in prison awaiting the start of the trial for 15 months – since she was tracked down by the FBI and arrested in July 2020.

The daughter of deceased media mogul Robert Maxwell could be sentenced to up to 35 years in prison if found guilty of the charges.

Who is Ghislaine Maxwell?

Maxwell is likely to turn 60 this year on Christmas Day in a harsh New York prison cell.

In contrast to her current conditions, she was born in France the youngest of nine children into a wealthy and highly-connected family.

Her father Robert – born into a poor family in former Czechoslovakia – was a former Labour MP, owner of The Mirror in Britain and the Daily News in New York among other publications, and misappropriator of his workers’ pension funds.

Robert’s body was found floating off the Canary Islands after he went missing from his yacht, the Lady Ghislaine.

Maxwell said in 1997 that she believed her father was murdered.

There are rumours he was an agent for Israeli spy agency, Mossad.

How did she know Jeffrey Epstein?

In 1991 Maxwell met Epstein, who died in jail two years ago. They had been romantically involved and stayed close friends for decades.

Prosecutors allege that Maxwell first helped Epstein procure underage girls in 1994.

Sisters Maria and Annie Farmer claimed that they were both sexually assaulted by Epstein and Maxwell.

Annie said in 2019 that she was lured to Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico. She stated in court papers that Maxwell insisted on giving her a massage before Epstein tried to restrain and sexually assault her.

She alleged that the couple “worked as a team” in “grooming” girls.

Before his death, Epstein was to stand trial after a number of women came forward to say how they were exploited by him and Maxwell. More women emerged to talk about their experiences after he died.

And what about Prince Andrew?

Ghislaine Maxwell was a close associate of the Duke of York, but it is not certain how they met. Maxwell was the one who introduced Epstein, who she had been dating, to him in the 1990s.

Photos from 2000 show the trio at Royal Ascot and attending a party thrown by the prince at the Queen’s Sandringham House.

In 2009, Virginia Roberts Giuffre sued Epstein claiming Maxwell had recruited her as a “sex slave” when she was a teenager working at former US president Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

She had settled her lawsuit with Epstein – but the allegations resurfaced in 2015 after more women spoke out against Epstein.

Ms Giuffre claims that Maxwell had told her on three occasions to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was 17.

Now 38, Ms Giuffre has filed a New York civil case against Prince Andrew. He has strongly denied all the allegations.

What has Prince Andrew said?

The Duke of York has refused to publically discuss charges against Maxwell and repeatedly denied the allegations against him.

He said, in his widely-criticised November 2019 interview with the BBC: “I can categorically tell you it never happened. I have no recollection of ever meeting this lady [Giuffre] – none whatsoever.”

He came under fire for defending his continuing friendship with Epstein after the latter was made in 2008 to serve 13 months of an 18-month sentence for soliciting a minor for prostitution.

Despite the prince insisting he cannot remember Giuffre, a photo has emerged of his hand around her waist in Maxwell’s house in London.

A former employee of Epstein also claimed that they had seen the duke acting in a sexual manner towards Giuffre.

What is going to happen in Maxwell’s trial?

Maxwell could spend decades in prison if she is found guilty of sex trafficking. It is expected her trial could reveal more high-profile figures implicated in the abuse scandal – including Prince Andrew’s.

Prosecutors have charged her with conspiracy and enticing minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, and the transportation of minors to engage in criminal sexual activity for allegedly grooming and recruiting underage girls from 1994 to 1997.

She is also being charged with sex trafficking of a minor from 2001 to 2004, in addition to one count of sex trafficking conspiracy.

Maxwell has pleaded not guilty, and her lawyers have argued that she is being tried in place of Epstein – a claim prosecutors reject.

Why has she been in prison?

Maxwell has been considered a flight risk because she has a fortune of about £20 million as well as British, French and US passports.

After Epstein’s arrest and death, she kept a very low profile to avoid detection. The FBI found her on a remote estate in New Hampshire almost exactly one year he died.

Prosecuters have said that Maxwell refused to answer the door to FBI agents, who were forced to break it down to arrest her. Maxwell’s lawyers’ applications for bail were turned down, including an offer of £21 million.

There are also claims that her health has deteriorated under 24-hour surveillance in a tiny prison cell, with a concrete bed, and no natural light. Her brother Ian alleges her eyesight is failing and her hair is falling out.

Prison officials say the surveillance is designed to prevent Maxwell harming herself in the light of Epstein’s cell death.

What happened to Epstein?

In July 2019, Epstein was arrested when he arrived on a private jet in New Jersey from France.

He was charged with sex trafficking and sex trafficking conspiracy.

One month later, Epstein, 66, was found dead in a Manhattan prison cell while awaiting trial.

A medical examiner ruled that the death was caused by suicide – but reports that suicide watch procedures were not followed, and that the prison’s CCTV malfunctioned, sparked theories that he may have been assassinated due to his links to wealthy and powerful people.

Tottenham fans who travelled from Dallas for postponed game get Harry Kane offer

Harry Kane has invited two United States-based Tottenham fans to be his guest at a game after they made a 31-hour journey to Burnley only for the fixture to be called off.

The Premier League contest at Turf Moor was postponed a little under an hour before kick-off due to heavy snow.

Attempts to clear the pitch began around 90 minutes before the scheduled 2pm kick-off but proved in vain, with snow coming down as quickly as it could be moved.

Ken and Brandi Saxton had detailed their journey from Dallas on social media and Kane quickly responded when he became aware of their exploits on Sunday evening.

The England star wrote: “Just been sent this tweet and absolutely gutted for you! For your commitment and to make up for the match being called off I’d like to invite you to a home game as my guest when you’re next in London.”

Kane’s offer unsurprisingly went down well and Brandi Saxton responded on Twitter: “Well the husband has officially gone viral and we’ve personally been invited to watch the Spurs by Harry Kane!!”

Canadian actor Elliot Page has amused fans by sharing a topless selfie on his social media and joking that he was in fact testing a “new phone”.

The 34-year-old, who has appeared in films such as Juno and Inception, shared the topless image on his Instagram on Sunday and wrote: “Oh good my new phone works”.

More than 900,000 people have since liked the image with many commenting on the star’s toned abs and chest, which were seen in a bedroom mirror.

Page, who said in December last year he was transgender, has said in a recent interview that top surgery had been both “life-changing” and “life-saving”, as part of his transition.

He told Oprah Winfrey: “It’s, you know, getting out of the shower and the towel is around your waist, and you’re looking at yourself in the mirror and you’re just like ‘There I am’”.

“And I’m not having the moment where I’m panicked … It’s being able to touch my chest and feel comfortable in my body probably for the first time,” said Page.

Tommy Dorfman, who reintroduced herself as a trans woman this year, was among the dozens who replied to Page’s selfie by writing, “Brooooo.”

As did Ian Daniel, the host of documentary series Gaycation and a close friend of Page, who wrote: “You’re gonna break that phone tho with your intense hotness”. 

“The mirror works too,” added Tourmaliiine, an LGBT+ artist and filmmaker.
